Privacy policy
ZuvExpress ("we", "the platform") takes your personal data seriously. This document explains in plain language what data we collect, why we use it, and how your rights are protected.
1. Data we collect
While you use ZuvExpress we collect the following data:
- Account data: phone number, first and last name, profile photo (optional).
- Location data: while the app is open, your current position via GPS — to find a driver near your address and to track your order.
- Order history: orders you have sent or delivered, addresses, time and price.
- Payment data: for drivers — subscription or commission history (date, amount, Click transaction id). For customers — if you choose the "Tezkor" (express) mode, the date and amount of that payment. We do not store card numbers or your Click password — the payment happens directly on the Click platform.
- Recipient data: the name and phone number of the person a parcel is delivered to. This is entered by the sender and is used only to carry out the delivery. It is erased when the sender's account is deleted. The sender's responsibility is set out in section 2 of the Terms.
2. How we use the data
- Providing the service — matching a customer with a driver, calculating the price, tracking the order.
- Support — providing technical help when something goes wrong.
- Improving the platform — analysing which features work and which do not.
- Meeting legal obligations — in accordance with the legislation of Uzbekistan.
3. Third-party services
We rely on the following trusted services:
- Eskiz SMS: to verify your phone number and send reminder SMS messages.
- Yandex Maps / MapKit: to display maps and routes.
- Click (click.uz): for driver subscription payments and "Tezkor" (express) boost payments. Card details are stored only on Click's servers and are not passed to us.
Only the minimum data each service needs is sent to it.
4. Data storage and security
All data is transmitted over an encrypted channel (TLS/HTTPS) and stored encrypted on our servers. Personal data is visible to staff only for technical-support and safety purposes.
Your data is kept for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, personal data is deleted within 30 days (except where the law requires otherwise — for example tax documents). In practice the "Delete account" button in the app removes personal data immediately; 30 days is the outer limit, for example for requests that reach us through support.
What is kept. Order and payment records — date, amount, status, subscription fee or commission — are not deleted, because tax and accounting law requires them to be retained. The personal fields inside those records (name, phone number, addresses and coordinates) are erased, so the record survives as an anonymised financial entry. Full list on the Account deletion page.
5. Your rights
- Access: you can request your data in the app or through support.
- Correction: you can correct inaccurate data at any time.
- Deletion: you can request deletion of your account — we carry it out within 30 days. In the app: Profile → Delete account. Without the app: the account-deletion page. Deletion is temporarily refused in two cases — if you have an order still in progress, or if a driver subscription you have paid for has not yet run out. Order and payment records are not deleted (see section 4).
- Export: you can request a copy of your data.
6. Route-announcement SMS
When a partner (driver) announces a route, ZuvExpress lets some customers know by SMS. To do this we use two facts: your phone number and that this partner has delivered a parcel for you before. The SMS is sent only if that partner delivered for you in the last six months.
- Who sends it: ZuvExpress sends the SMS through Eskiz. The partner never sees, receives, or can export your phone number or name — in the app they see only how many people were texted.
- How often: across all partners combined, a customer gets at most one route-announcement SMS every 7 days.
- How to stop it: turn it off in the app under Profile → "Route SMS". Once you do, you will not receive any more route-announcement SMS.
- Retention. An internal record of who was texted and when (a customer id and a timestamp — not the phone number itself) is kept to enforce the 7-day limit above. There is no automatic system yet that regularly deletes these records — we are working on adding one.
7. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. You can open the current version from inside the app at any time — the date of the last update is shown above.
8. Contact
